INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY IN LONDON
Tuesday 8 March 2011 is the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. On this day, women, men and children around the world meet on bridges to show solidarity and support for women who are helping their nations to finish with arms, resolve their conflicts, and move towards a peaceful future.
The main campaign is for women around the globe to live in a more secure world and - now more than ever - have an equal voice at the decision in building the bridges of peace for our future.
